Our Commitment
Tryit.fun is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Measures We've Taken
- Keyboard navigation — All interactive elements (quizzes, games, share buttons, menus) are fully keyboard accessible with visible focus indicators.
- Screen reader support — Dynamic content changes (quiz progress, game scores, results) are announced via ARIA live regions. All images have meaningful alternative text.
- Color contrast — Text and UI elements meet the WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
- Reduced motion — All animations and transitions respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query. Confetti, loot-box reveals, and page transitions are disabled or minimized when this preference is active.
- Focus management — Modal dialogs and overlays use focus trapping to prevent keyboard users from tabbing behind the modal. Focus is restored when overlays close.
- Skip navigation — A "Skip to content" link is available on every page for keyboard and screen reader users.
- Semantic HTML — We use proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and ARIA attributes throughout the application.
- Form labels — All form inputs have associated labels, error messages, and instructions.
Known Limitations
- AI-generated images — While we provide contextual alt text for generated images, the descriptions may not always fully capture the visual content. We are working on AI-powered image description to improve this.
- Canvas-based games — Some games use HTML Canvas for rendering, which has inherent accessibility limitations. We provide keyboard alternatives and screen reader announcements for game state changes.
- Third-party content — Some embedded content (advertisements, social media widgets) may not meet our accessibility standards. We work with our partners to improve this.
